Dr. Abby Weagraff grew up in Northwestern Pennsylvania and came to Northeast Ohio to attend Baldwin Wallace University for her undergraduate education. She then attended Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, Dr. Weagraff completed a 2.5-year orthodontic residency at Saint Louis University, earning her Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry. Although she loved her time in St. Louis, she was excited to return to Northeast Ohio, a place she had grown to love, to be closer to her family and begin her career as an orthodontist.

Dr. Abby Weagraff’s interest in orthodontics began with a love of dentistry itself. As a child, she always enjoyed going to the dentist and initially thought she would become a general dentist. That changed when her younger brother got braces. She was fascinated by how a few wires and brackets could gradually transform his smile and loved watching the progress throughout his treatment. This sparked her interest in orthodontics and the unique combination of science, technology, and artistry that goes into creating a healthy, confident smile.

Today, one of Dr. Abby Weagraff’s favorite parts of orthodontics is watching that same transformation happen for her patients. She believes orthodontic treatment is about more than creating a beautiful smile—it can help patients feel more confident and more like themselves. She strives to create a comfortable and positive environment where patients feel heard, involved, and excited about their treatment journey.

Outside of the office, Dr. Abby Weagraff loves spending time with her family and her parents’ dogs and taking advantage of every opportunity to be outdoors. She enjoys running, hiking, biking, skiing, and working out. She also loves exploring new coffee shops and, in true grandma fashion, relaxing with a good cross-stitch project.
